Mother’s Day was yesterday and I had the opportunity to dine at one of Sedona’s favorites with my husband and three year old son. We ate a lovely breakfast buffet at Heartline Cafe. Phyllis and her staff do an amazing job of making everyone feel at home and comfortable in the cozy surroundings. It really is a little gem of a place and if you choose to go for dinner- the bar is beautiful and the staff just get even better as the day progresses.

After breakfast we played and played at Sunset Park. This public park really is a treasure from the City of Sedona. We played tag, hide and seek, and the grass is so much fun. As you can imagine grass in Arizona is rare and it’s fun to get to play on with a little boy that has a ton of energy.

I then traveled to Sedona Rouge Spa and got to enjoy a 90 minute treatment that was heavenly. Roberta was my massage therapist and I must say that was one of the best massages I have ever had- and I consider myself to be a bit of a spa goer. It was amazing- if you are coming to Sedona and need a treatment, it’s one of many wonderful places.
